Treatment

What does Treatment Involve?
Every case is different.  The length of treatment depends entirely on the individual.  In general, the initial consultation lasts about 90 minutes and each follow-up occurs about every 4-6 weeks and usually lasts 30-40 minutes. Again this is very variable, but on average a child may need from 6-12 months of treatment and an adult may need 12-24 months.

Acute Disease
There are many approaches when dealing with disease. If there is an acute disease, relief will be provided with the use of acute remedies.  This may only be temporary and should not be mistaken for the removal of the deeper disease itself, which may often cause recurring acute symptoms.

Constitutional Prescribing
Constitutional prescribing is another aspect of treatment.  This part of the treatment helps the life force in its efforts to maintain a healthy balance, while we continue to get at the root of the problem. We need to look at the person’s habits, likes, dislikes and mental disposition and find a match to one of a dozen or so constitutional remedies.

Sequential Treatment
Sequential Treatment is an advanced form of homeopathic treatment for chronic diseases. It involves the removal of blockages caused by different shocks and traumas one has experienced in life, whether they stem from emotional, medicinal, surgical or other causes.  To help determine the sequence of these shocks and traumas, it is essential to have a timeline.
In addition to acute, constitutional and sequential treatment, nutrition, lifestyle, drainage and detoxification are also taken into consideration. Heilkunst is by far the most effective approach to achieving deep, long-lasting results.

What is a Healing Reaction?
Anywhere from 10 to 14 days after taking the remedies to deal with the timeline event, you will experience a healing reaction. When the right remedy is given following the law of similars, the disease is destroyed, not suppressed. As a result the sustentive power react to the curative action of the medicine leading to a healing reaction. Healing reactions create symptoms such as changes in temperature, mood, disturbances of sleep, etc. They can also involve various discharge reactions at the physical level such as nausea, mucous discharge, headaches, perspiration, etc. This is not always pleasant but it will generally be followed by a feeling of well-being and soundness.

What is a Timeline?

At the initial consultation, you will be asked to complete a timeline. You will describe all significant emotional and physical traumas you have experienced over your lifetime.
This will help the practitioner determine your course of treatment. Sequential Therapy addresses all the blockages caused by physical and emotional shocks; it liberates your life force and assists it in its journey to a healthy, balanced state.
We remove the blockages in reverse order of their appearance; in other words, the first shock we remove is the most recent one. Then, one by one, we remove all other blockages or layers, much like peeling off the layers of an onion until we reach your birth.  Next, we address Chronic Miasms, which are your genetic inherited diseases. These are the source of many chronic ailments, whether physical or emotional in nature.
Typically, we address a new shock or trauma every three weeks

Guide To Developing your Timeline

As a separate document, make a list of all physical and emotional events/traumas you can remember, in chronological order starting from the present and working your way back in time until your birth and conception.

If you don’t remember the exact dates, list the event in the correct order. Even if you are not sure whether an event is significant, add it to the list.  For each event, give a brief description of the experience. See example below.

Please keep a copy of your timeline so that you can follow along.
